Animages

Dr. Carmel graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Montreal in 1998. After an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the same institution, he joined the Laboratory for IT integration in medical education (LITIEM) where he worked on various research and development projects in veterinary and medical educational technology.  He then pursued a residency program in medical imaging at Montreal University, and passed the certification exam of the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 2011. He is currently part of the specialist team of the Laval Veterinary Center.  An avid observer of information technology since the 90s, he has written many technology columns, is regularly invited as an expert speaker and is the co-author of the simulator RadioQuiz and the Animages blog.
